A Treasure

People who are intelligent and witty make the world a better place to live. In that vein, I give you the XKCD web comic. This strip is, I think, what humor is all about. The strip is often some geeky math jokes but is occasionally blatantly maudlin sentimentality so by the time you get to box five you don't know what to expect from box six.
